Professional Training

The vast majority of the programming activities have been developed in house, at Teamlink. Youth program facilitation, school enrichment programming, after school programming, challenge course facilitation, out-of-school programming for at-risk youth, adventure program processing and facilitation, diversity/inclusiveness training…

Each of these topics of professional training have been taught by Teamlink staff over the years to professional groups (counselors, teachers, program supervisors and program facilitators) and college students from the mid Atlantic region as well as from across the country.

In particular the successes we have achieved with our after-school programs in support of the “21st Century Community Learning Center” grant program have been significant. The vast majority of the programming activities have been developed in house, at Teamlink. These are activities that readily engage students, family members, extended family and the larger community with common learning objectives. The ideas of diversity, multi-cultural respect and acceptance, cross cultural communications, and cross generational communications are great concepts.. but hard to teach/learn/implement.

At the urging of several of our clients, we have developed an exportable training program through which we can share these activities with others who are similarly engaged.
